Honey was born from a deep passion for women’s health and a frustration with the beauty industry’s compromises.

For years, despite making healthy lifestyle choices, Emma struggled with persistent hormonal imbalances: acne, chronic fatigue, and eventually, an endometriosis diagnosis. She knew the products she put on her skin mattered, yet most commercial beauty products were filled with synthetic chemicals, hormone disruptors, and questionable, low quality ingredients.

Determined to find a better way, she began creating her own minimal skincare like high quality face oils, nourishing masks, and deeply hydrating lotions. But when it came to makeup? There weren't any options that felt truly clean. She wanted to attend events, see friends, and feel beautiful without compromising her health.

After spending 10 years building an organic chocolate truffle company, Emma felt burned out. She had dedicated her career to wellness, yet her lifestyle had shifted, she no longer wanted a sugar-filled business that was the main contribution to her chronic health issues. At the same time, she was on a TTC journey and managing endometriosis, making her more aware than ever of how products could support or disrupt women’s natural cycles.

That’s when she saw an opportunity: to create a new level of clean beauty.
